The Holocaust was the greatest human tragedy of the 20th
century. The fact that it was directed predominately against one group of
people, Jews, speaks of the hatred many hold in their heart for G-d's Chosen
People. Over 6 million Jews died at the hands of the Nazi's.
While many want to blame only Hitler, or the Germans, the
truth is much uglier. Survivors from Concentration camps were even killed
by their neighbors upon returning to their homeland in Poland.
Across the world today, many deny or
try to diminish the Holocaust. 50% of Europeans under 25 do not know (or
believe) of the mass atrocities. We must never let the world forget the
hate shown against the Jewish people.
