Simchat Torah \ Rejoicing in the Torah
Notes:
Simchat Torah - Rejoicing in the Torah. Many non-Jewish believers toady don't understand the relevance of Torah for our lives today. Because of this, they miss the true joy that the
Torah brings. Torah is not a burden, but is the very Word of G-d. We as Messianics believe Yeshua is that Torah. The Rabbis teach that the Torah was with G-d in the beginning, we
believe this is true, for as Yochanan said in Yochanan (John) Chapter 1 -
1 ¶ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 6 There was a man sent from God whose name was Yochanan. 9 This was the true light, which gives light to everyone entering the world. 14 The Word became a human being and lived with us, and we saw his Sh’khinah, the Sh’khinah of
the Father’s only Son, full of grace and truth. The Torah is joy, beauty and power. It frees from the arbitrary rules of man, and puts us directly under G-d's loving kindness!
